Project Greenlight is a coptic stitch bound book that tells a dystopian story of what Project Greenlight could one day become. Through the use of collage and found materials it explores the future of Detroit if it becomes an unchecked surveillance state. The book explores a wide variety of themes created by surveillance culture including the coding bias this technology has in relation to accurately identifying people of color. It also includes ways to subvert surveillance, maps marking where these cameras are located and ways to stop these programs from identifying you through the use of makeup and clothing that disrupts the algorithms used to track its citizens.
